What Charlie Kirk's 3-Year-Old Daughter Said When Told 'Daddy Is In Heaven'

After Charlie Kirk's assassination at a Utah University event nearly two months ago, his wife, Erika Kirk, has shared how their children are coping without their father. Erika revealed in an interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters that her three-year-old daughter and one-year-old son frequently ask about their dad.

Erika explained how she comforts her daughter, who especially wonders about talking with her father:

“If you ever want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking to him. He can hear you.”

Trying to hold back tears, Erika added:

“I told her, you know Daddy is in heaven.”

She asked, “You think I could go sometime?”

I said, “Baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day.”

Erika referred to explaining to her children that their father has “gone on a work trip with Jesus” to help them understand his absence in a gentle way.
