Quarter-finalists and Relegation Semi-finalists Confirmed in Limerick Senior Football Championship
The quarter-finalists have been confirmed in this year's Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship after round five took place over the weekend.
- Monaleen will face Mungret St Paul's
- Fr Casey's will take on St Kieran's in the SFC quarter-finals on October 25
County champions Adare and Newcastle West have advanced directly into the semi-finals after topping groups one and two respectively.
In group one, Adare recorded a 0-17 to 0-13 victory over Monaleen, with Adare's Hugh Bourke scoring 0-7 and Limerick inter-county hurler Donnacha Ó Dálaigh scoring 0-4 for Monaleen.
Fr Casey's secured their place in the quarter-finals with a 1-17 to 1-14 win over Na Piarsaigh, while Rathkeale retained their SFC status for next year with a 1-15 to 0-16 win over Oola.
