Late last year, Mike arrived at work sporting what he humorously described as “gigantic sideburns,” a sharp departure from his usual clean-shaven look. Colleagues were curious, and Mike jokingly said he had lost a bet, but in reality, he had just won an incredible opportunity.
The Casting Call
Shortly before growing the sideburns, Mike received an unexpected call from the casting director of the Springsteen biopic. She sought someone to play E Street Band bassist Garry Tallent.
