In its Q3 results announcement, Zalando revealed a new logistics agreement with the UK retailer M&S. Previously, M&S partnered with Zalando on a limited scale since 2022, fulfilling orders through three marketplace platforms in Europe: Zalando, About You, and Amazon.
Starting early next year, Zalando’s B2B logistics solution, ZEOS, will manage M&S's entire online direct-to-consumer operations across continental Europe. This expansion marks a significant deepening of their collaboration.
Similar logistics agreements exist between Zalando and other UK retailers such as Next, indicating British companies recognize Zalando’s strong potential in mainland Europe as a preferred logistics partner.
“In the last quarter, M&S experienced rapid online growth with Zalando sales increasing 131% compared to last year,” the retailer noted.
The deal highlights M&S’s strategic move to optimize its European online presence by leveraging Zalando’s sophisticated logistics network.
M&S is expanding its logistics partnership with Zalando to improve delivery times across 21 European markets, leveraging Zalando’s advanced inventory and order systems to support rapid online growth.
