Bollywood actor Govinda, aged 61, was admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu around 11:30 p.m. after collapsing at his residence. His friend and legal advisor confirmed that the actor is stable and undergoing observation.
“He fainted in the evening and called me. I brought him to CritiCare Hospital. He is under observation and undergoing necessary tests,” said Bindal.
Bindal also shared an update on Instagram regarding the actor’s health.
“My dear and respected @govinda_herono1 is admitted to the hospital with complaints of disorientation and unconsciousness. Hoping for his speedy recovery.”
Last October, Govinda was hospitalized in Mumbai following an accidental firearm injury to his left leg while handling his licensed revolver. He underwent an hour-long operation in the ICU to remove the bullet below his knee.
“I was about to leave for a show in Kolkata and had just reached my house at around five in the morning. I was in a rush to keep the revolver back in the cupboard when I got this injury,” Govinda explained after his recovery.
Recalling the moment, he described his shock upon realizing what had happened.
“Aur uss time par vo giri aur chal padi (it just fell and went off). I was shocked when I looked down and saw blood.”
Veteran actor Govinda was hospitalized in Mumbai after losing consciousness at home, now stable under observation; this follows a prior accidental injury in 2024.
