Sunita Ahuja opened up about the hardships of being married to a film star like Govinda, especially regarding emotional betrayal. She expressed that cheating, in any form, is unacceptable and deeply painful for her.
"Aap emotionally ek insaan ko pyaar karte ho. Phir baad mein aap usko cheat karte ho, that's not right. Kyunki dekhiye, main bahut emotional hoon. Like I love Govinda to my death. Aur emotionally mujhe koi bhi dhokha de, chahe mere bachche ho, mera pati ho, I get very hurt. Emotionally kisi ko mat kaho, it's not good yaar."
Sunita revealed that her emotional sensitivity makes any form of betrayal hard to bear. At times, she even felt life was a burden, staying strong only because of her love for her children, Tina and Yashvardan Ahuja.
She discussed the toughness required to maintain a marriage with a celebrity, admitting it demanded becoming "stone-hearted." She shared:
"See, woh [Govinda] hero hain. Unka main kya bolun, wife log se zyada woh heroines ke saath time bitate hain. It takes you to become a very strong woman to be a star's wife. Aapko dil pathar ka banana padta hai. It took me 38 years of marriage to realize it. Jawani mein pata nahi tha."
This perspective highlights the emotional resilience needed to cope with the unique demands of celebrity life.
Sunita Ahuja candidly described the emotional pain caused by infidelity and the resilience required to be married to a film star like Govinda.
