Police responded to Sidcup Family Golf on Sidcup Bypass in southeast London at about 5:45 pm on Sunday, November 9, following a wall collapse during a child's birthday party.
A five-year-old boy was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition. Paramedics and the London Air Ambulance attended the scene promptly.
A six-year-old girl was also hurt in the incident but has since been discharged from the hospital.
Police spokesperson: "Police were called at 17:44hrs on Sunday, 9 November to Sidcup By-Pass, Chislehurst to reports a child had been injured by a collapsing wall. Officers attended and paramedics were treating a five-year-old boy. He was taken to hospital by the London Air Ambulance, where he remains in a life-threatening condition. A six-year-old girl was also injured and has since been discharged from hospital."
Witnesses confirmed the boy was attending a children's birthday party at the time of the collapse.
The nature of the wall collapse and exact cause remain unclear as authorities continue their inquiries.
