Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Capital Region is celebrating its 30th anniversary with an annual walk at Washington Park.
Over 13,000 people are expected to participate this Sunday to raise funds for breast cancer research. The event starts at 10 a.m. with the walk beginning at noon, featuring live music, food trucks, vendors, and a kid-friendly zone.
Since 1993, Making Strides has raised nearly $1 billion nationwide for research, patient support, and life-saving services. Last year, the Capital Region raised over $850,000.
