Couple Found Dead in Car Days Before Anniversary
A couple in Illinois was found dead in a car, just days from celebrating their first wedding anniversary, according to police.
Investigators found 29-year-old Rachel Dumovich, the driver, and Brandon dead inside the car, with each having a gunshot wound. A firearm was found inside the vehicle.
The couple got married on October 12, 2024, after staying friends for 15 years and starting to date in 2022. Brandon proposed in the summer of 2023 on Big Cedar Lake in Slinger, according to their wedding page on The Knot.
An autopsy was scheduled for October 9, according to the coroner’s office.
