The stadium where the Buffalo Bills have called home for the past 52 years was honored Saturday evening at the Highmark Stadium for the annual RIT Big Shot Project.
Close to 10,000 people filled Highmark Stadium to participate in this year's project, which aimed to commemorate the stadium before the Buffalo Bills move to a new stadium next year.
"It's about what the Bills actually mean for Western New York. So that's why we had to commemorate Highmark Stadium in a different way that you normally see. And that's where, when it's lit up and it's painted with light, it's going to invoke all those memories of your childhood when you brought your kids here to the stadium, your grandkids."
Eric Kunsman, Assistant Professor at RIT and Big Shot leader, and Emerson Pearlberg, a Photographic Science Major at RIT, were among those who participated in the project.
