Dismissal of Lawsuit Against Kellie Pickler
A federal court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Nigel Max Edge, also known as Sean William Debevoise, against country music singer Kellie Pickler.
Edge, a Marine Corps veteran, claimed that Pickler tried to poison him at the CMT Awards in 2012, where he was her date. At the time, Edge stated,
I am ecstatic about being here at the CMT Music Awards with Kellie, even more to consider her a friend. She is the most sincere person I know. She is an angel.
The lawsuit was filed nearly 13 years after the incident allegedly occurred. The court deemed the lawsuit "non-sensical" and dismissed it.
