A residential care home, Marika House, has been found in breach of legal regulations after a visit from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) watchdog.
The care home, which provides support to people with learning disabilities and autism, was inspected from August 19 to September 1 and had significant issues, including two breaches of legal regulations related to person-centred care and governance.
Care "did not always achieve good outcomes or was inconsistent"
The provider's internal monitoring systems failed to identify concerns, and as a result, robust action was not taken to make improvements.
