Millions Spent Defending OC DA Spitzer's Misconduct Cases
Orange County taxpayers may bear tens of millions of dollars in costs defending sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuits against District Attorney Todd Spitzer and his administration.
Attorney Bijan Darvish states that a lack of accountability at the highest levels is the cause of these costs.
“I think the words to describe it are conduct rewarded is conduct repeated,”
Darvish said, describing a pattern of misconduct, retaliation, and costly litigation inside the DA’s office.
Darvish notes that there has been no accountability for the higher-ups, the executives at the district attorney’s office.
