Exposing Rape and Abuse in Idaho's Prison System

A Case of Abuse
In January 2018, a woman, referred to as Lynn, was taken to a medical clinic at South Idaho Correctional Institution for a procedure to remove abnormal cervical tissue.
Lynn was escorted by guard Ricardo Quiroz, known as "Corporal Q," who allowed her to sit in the front of the van.
Lynn recounts that after the procedure, Quiroz told her to go to the back of the van and remove her pants.
This incident is part of a larger pattern of abuse and rape by prison guards in Idaho's prison system.
