We recently told you about an issue Microsoft was experiencing with their Edge browser, leading to some users' passwords being visible on screen when logging into University systems.
Microsoft has now resolved the issue with their software, which means that Microsoft Edge should not show any passwords while logging in.
However, these passwords may still be visible in your settings. To ensure our systems remain secure, we are asking all staff and students to check your Microsoft Edge settings to make sure that passwords are not showing in your ‘Personal info’ settings, where they may be vulnerable.
