Criminal Behaviour Order for Prolific Offender in Scarborough
A 31-year-old woman, Sadie Lauren Metcalf, has been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) due to repeated incidents of anti-social behaviour in Scarborough town centre.
Metcalf, currently of no fixed abode, was first noticed by North Yorkshire Police in the summer of 2024 for her persistent anti-social behaviour and criminal conduct.
The CBO was applied for while Metcalf was appearing before Scarborough Magistrates for various charges, including:
- three shop thefts
- two public order incidents
- a breach of a previous CBO
- an assault
Metcalf’s behaviour included
shouting, swearing and intimidating passers-by, as well as physical assaults against members of the public and police officers, often without provocation.
