Hyderabad Juvenile Home Supervisor Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault
A supervisor at a state-run Juvenile Welfare and Correctional Services facility in Hyderabad's Saidabad area has been booked for allegedly sexually abusing a 10-year-old inmate.
The 10-year-old boy, from the Madiga Scheduled Caste community, had run away from his family home and was living on the streets before being placed in the juvenile home.
During a recent visit to his family during the Dasara vacations, the boy expressed reluctance to return to the juvenile home, and upon questioning by his mother,
informed her of the alleged sexual abuse.
The incident has led to the supervisor's arrest, highlighting concerns about the safety and well-being of children in such facilities.
