Innovative School in Mexico Embraces AI
At Instituto México Inglés (IMI College) in Guadalajara, AI is a fundamental learning tool for students.
The school, accredited by Cognia, has incorporated Artificial Intelligence into its approach, making it one of the first in Mexico to do so.
- Replaced traditional textbooks with iPads in 2015
- Introduced coaches instead of teachers to support students
- Implemented a monthly challenge to encourage investigative and research skills
We call them coaches because we want them to behave like sports coaches. Sports coaches don’t do the push-ups for you, don’t play the game for you. They’re on the side supporting you, but you get to play the game.
