Semi Overturns on I-80, Closes Highway for 5 Hours
Interstate 80 was closed for multiple hours following a semi rollover on Sunday night.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, a semi traveling westbound on I-80 near the Shelton I-80 exit lost control and rolled, partially going over the bridge railing, just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
- An axle from the semi detached and struck a Ford F-150.
- The incident led to the closure of I-80 in the area for about five hours as crews worked to clean up the scene.
