Ethiopia has secured over $2.48 billion from exports during the first quarter of the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year, according to Trade and Regional Integration Minister Kassahun Gofe.
The minister announced this at a forum reviewing the first quarter performance of the EFY, stating that key sectors have shown tangible results during this period.
The minister noted that the first quarter has been productive, with the country moving closer to joining the WTO and exporting to neighboring countries under the AfCFTA.
Ethiopia achieved record-breaking export revenue of $8 billion last year.
