Memorial Service for Charlie Kirk
A memorial service is planned in Indio to honor conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed in September.
Pastor Nate Conant from Destiny Church in Indio announced that the event will start at 6 p.m. on what would have been Kirk's 32nd birthday.
It's just to commemorate his life and allow some people to come together and celebrate who he was.
The service was originally planned to be held outdoors at The River in Rancho Mirage, but due to weather concerns, organizers decided to move the memorial indoors.
