Racing movies can be divisive, with some being stellar and others being back of the grid villains.

Recent notable films include Le Mans, Grand Prix, Ford vs Ferrari, and F1: The Movie, while some like Driven are thought to be so bad they're good.

Author's summary: Racing films vary in quality, with some being great and others being poor.
