Tuesday Morning Quarterback: Idaho's Defense Isn't Elite
After a 49-33 loss, the Vandal defense needs to fix multiple problems heading into the rest of the season.
I was wrong about the Idaho defense, fooled by good performances against Washington State and Utah Tech. I previously stated that this defense was one of the best in the Big Sky and could be a top unit in the FCS, but I now revoke those statements.
This is not a top defense in the FCS or the Big Sky.
The defense is a weak point for the Vandals and could lead them to drop out of the rankings and miss the playoffs. The Vandals were 19.5-point favorites going into the game against Northern Colorado.
