Pueblo’s ‘Little Jewelbox’ Temple Emanuel Celebrates 125 Years

Temple Emanuel, a synagogue in Pueblo, has been a testament to the resilience of the local Jewish community for 125 years.

The congregation believes strongly that the temple is not only the synagogue for the Jewish community, but it also belongs to the citizens of Pueblo.

The temple, known as the “Little Jewelbox,” features a stunning Star of David in a stained glass window, surrounded by radiant beams of color.

According to the temple’s board president, Micheal Atlas-Acuña, the Torahs are sacred scrolls with significant historical value.
