A judge ruled that six previous acts of Tavaris Jackson, accused of killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend in 2023, can be raised at his upcoming trial.
Jackson, 35, appeared virtually in the 47th Circuit Court of Delta County for a defense motion to exclude certain evidence in trial.
Judge John Economopoulos said six of the nine acts the Michigan Attorney General’s Office sought to include as evidence did have relevance in the case.
Jackson has been accused of open murder in the death of his pregnant ex-girlfriend in July 2023.
