Celebrations at Silvermines NS
Silvermines NS recently celebrated the awarding of their fourth An Taisce Green Flag with a special ceremony in the school.
Last Friday, the school unveiled their fourth Green Flag in front of pupils, staff, parents, and members of the Board of Management.
Ms Marguerite Sutton, Green Schools Co-ordinator, thanked all for their hard work and dedication over the past year in the school’s bid to attain a fourth Green Flag award for travel.
Principal, Mr James Hayden, praised the ongoing efforts and support of all pupils, staff, and parents, and lauded the work of Ms Sutton and the school's Green Schools Committee.
The school's Green Schools committee comprises students from every class in the school.
