US Signals Tomahawk Supply to Ukraine

The US and Ukraine are in discussions about the possibility of providing Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, following repeated requests from Ukraine.

These discussions come after a fresh wave of Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, according to officials and public statements.

Ukraine's foreign ministry said the two sides were in "a very detailed and active discussion about the possibility of providing these missiles,"

as stated by ministry spokesman, Heorhii Tykhyi. President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned speaking to US President Donald Trump, describing the call as "very positive and productive."

"We discussed opportunities to bolster our air defense, as well as concrete agreements that we are working on to ensure this,"

wrote Zelensky on X, in a public post. Moscow has strongly reacted to the possibility of Tomahawk transfers.
