A 28-year-old Longford man, Dylan Conaghy, with 76 previous convictions, has been charged with multiple road traffic offences.
Conaghy was driving under the influence of cocaine, opioids, and methamphetamine when he caused a road collision on the M2 at Baltrasna, Ashbourne, on May 28th last year.
The injured party reported that she was driving to her sister's house when she felt a collision, lost control of the vehicle, and spun into a grass verge, requiring fire brigade assistance to exit the vehicle.
Conaghy initially identified himself as Dylan Mulready when questioned by Gardai at the scene.
