During the government shutdown, visitors, workers, and advocates report that some parkgoers are engaging in unpermitted activities at Yosemite National Park.
A recent visitor, Sean Jennings from Santa Rosa, was surprised by the large number of people at the park on a weekday, saying
“There were people everywhere”.
Jennings had planned a trip to Yosemite with his daughter, Sugar, and had reserved a night's stay at Porcupine Flats campground near Tioga Pass.
