ACORN Hosting Hawaii Vacation Raffle
Tickets for a one-week getaway in Kauai are limited to 350. Advocates for Children of Rural Nevada (ACORN), a foster youth advocacy organization, relies heavily on grants to operate.
Due to the federal government terminating funding in April, ACORN needs an alternative funding source to continue providing services to foster youth in Nye and Esmeralda counties. To address this, the nonprofit is increasing its fundraising efforts, including the return of its Hawaii Vacation Raffle.
Aloha friends of ACORN! I am excited to announce that we are raffling another one-week vacation to Kauai, Hawaii to be used anytime in the year 2026!
ACORN Executive Director Kathie McKenna expressed excitement about the raffle, noting that the funds received will help offset the loss of grant funding.
