Sudbury Cyclones' Giuseppe Politi Named Coach of the Year
Giuseppe Politi, head coach of the Sudbury Cyclones, has been named League1 Championship Coach of the Year.
Politi led the team to a second straight promotion, a historic feat in League1 Ontario soccer. He was nominated alongside Donovan Taffe and Ramin Mohammadi.
Politi's award follows Connor Vande Weghe's recognition as Goalkeeper of the Year and MVP finalist. Vande Weghe also received a first-team all-star nod, while Jaiden Santo was named to the second team.
Politi made League1 Ontario soccer history by leading the Sudbury Cyclones to an unprecedented second straight promotion.
