Organizers expect a large turnout for the No Kings/No Dictators protest in Hilo, with registration already surpassing the June 14 event, which drew over 1,500 participants.
The protests, led by Indivisible Hawai’i Statewide Network, will take place across the United States, including several communities on the Big Island.
Supporters of the event say President Donald Trump is violating rights as outlined in both the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.
The event will feature marches, rallies, and community events in cities and towns across the US.
