Stockport Publishes Draft Local Plan
Stockport has published a 219-page spatial strategy for the borough, which includes 26 Green Belt sites.
The plan is now available for reading ahead of a consultation that will begin in the coming weeks.
Planners across the region have got a busy weekend of reading ahead of them.
Some residents have shared their thoughts on the plan, with one saying
they've managed to get it almost spot onand another appreciating that
they're sorting it out and listening to people in the city.

The local plan has been a subject of discussion since the council pulled out of the spatial plan for Greater Manchester.
