“Antifa” Protesters Charged With Terrorism

Federal prosecutors have charged two “antifa” protesters with terrorism for their alleged involvement in a shooting during a protest against ICE.

The protest, which took place on July 4, was against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, and resulted in the injury of a local police officer.

President Donald Trump announced that he was designating antifa a “major terrorist organization” — a designation that does not exist under law for domestic groups.
