A man was arrested on child abuse charges stemming from an incident in February.

According to police, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of a child being abused, and officers investigated the complaint.

They learned that Kareem George allegedly used a PVC pipe to assault his minor daughter, leaving her with visible injuries.

George turned himself in on October 14 and was charged with simple assault and battery, child abuse, and disturbance of the peace.

Kareem George allegedly used a length of PVC piping to assault his minor daughter in the name of discipline.
