Red-hot B.C. Lions Win 5th Straight
The B.C. Lions defeated the Edmonton Elks 37-24, led by QB Nathan Rourke's 70-yard TD run and 338 passing yards.
Rourke's performance helped the Lions (10-7) win their fifth straight game and clinch a playoff spot in the West Division.
- Keon Hatcher, James Butler, and Robert Carter Jr. also scored touchdowns for the Lions.
- Kicker Sean Whyte added two field goals and three converts.
For the Elks (7-10), QB Cody Fajardo threw for 230 yards and a TD, and added another touchdown on the ground.
Binjimen Victor scored a major, and Vincent Blanchard booted a field goal and three converts.
The Lions scored a safety in the first quarter when Ben Hladik tackled Fajardo in the end zone.
