Thomas More University Honors Community Leaders
The Thomas More University Alumni Association recognized seven distinguished individuals during the 2025 Alumni Awards ceremony.
The ceremony, held in Ziegler Auditorium, celebrated honorees in six categories for their personal and professional achievements and commitment to advancing the mission of the University.
Award Recipient: Edward Schneider
Edward Schneider received the Professional Achievement Award for his exemplary career in aviation and government service.
- Native of Dayton, Kentucky
- Graduate of Covington Latin and Villa Madonna College
- Served as a naval aviator and NASA research pilot
- Logged more than 7,800 flight hours across 91 aircraft models
He is a Fellow and past president of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots, a Kentucky Aviation Hall of Fame inductee, and recipient of the NASA Distinguished Service Medal.
