NYC Mayoral Race: Mamdani and Cuomo Neck and Neck
A recent poll suggests that if Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa drops out, Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani and Independent candidate Andrew Cuomo would be virtually tied in the NYC mayoral race.
According to the poll conducted by Gotham Polling and the city AARP, Mamdani would lead with 44.6% of the vote, while Cuomo would follow closely with 40.7%.
Notably, a significant 15% of voters over the age of 50 remain undecided.
As of now, with all three candidates still in the race, Mamdani is leading by double digits, according to the New York Post.
