The Sacramento State men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss at home against UC Irvine, despite taking 12 shots and hitting the target only once.
The match took a turn for the worse in the 55th minute at Hornet Field, with the team down three goals to the fifth-ranked University of California, Irvine.
In an attempt to change the momentum, junior forward Donovan Sessoms made a fast break up the right side of the pitch, receiving a through ball from senior midfielder Hasan Alsakati.
Sessoms gathered the ball as he sped toward the right side of the box, dribbling twice and sending a scorching kick for the bottom left corner.
