In the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds), an elderly Palestinian man was shot by Israeli occupation forces on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), as quoted by the Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the 67-year-old civilian sustained a severe gunshot wound to the thigh from live ammunition near the Israeli occupation's apartheid wall in Al-Ram.
The injured man was treated by PRCS medics and transferred to the hospital for further treatment.
The occupied West Bank and Al-Quds face daily raids and incursions, with bulldozing of land, uprooting of trees, and seizure of property by the IOF and settlers, often accompanied by clashes, arrests, and the use of live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas canisters against Palestinians.
No specific statement from the Israeli occupation forces was provided.
