Green Tech International has commenced work on Romania's largest geothermal-heated hydroponics greenhouse as part of a broader 50-hectare greenhouse plan.
The project, undertaken by subsidiary Horti Green Invest S.A., will initially cover 10 hectares of greenhouses, with plans to expand to at least 50 hectares over the next 5 years, boosting the company's presence in sustainable agriculture.
The company will also invest in rehabilitating existing geothermal wells and modernizing a thermal power plant to supply heat to the greenhouses.
