A car crash on Saturday morning led to thousands of people losing power in Burlington and Sedro-Woolley.
More than 5,400 customers were initially affected, but power has been mostly restored as of Saturday afternoon, October 25.
The Sedro-Woolley police reported that a motor vehicle crash around 7 a.m. at Wicker Road and Fruitdale Road likely led to the large power outage.
Power is estimated to be restored to the remaining customers around 2:30 p.m., according to PSE. The outage also affected traffic lights, with some intersections having battery-powered lights and others not.
