Jeremy Renner's Recovery from 2023 Accident
Jeremy Renner, known for his role as McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown, has shared how the show aided his recovery after a snowplow accident in 2023.
The 54-year-old actor discussed his return to work ahead of the fourth season's release on Paramount+ on October 26.
I didn’t consider really anything for a good while. I mean just maybe the summer maybe I even considered the idea of it. and the just to kind of I have something to look forward to.
Renner explained that the idea of working on Mayor of Kingstown gave him something to look forward to during his recovery, stating:
The idea of wanting to do Mayor was something to kind of, in the distance, maybe I’m going to get back on my feet again.
He began working on the project a year after the accident, although he admitted he didn't feel physically ready at the time.
