Baran Jani from Iran secured a gold medal at the 2025 Asian Youth Games (AYG) held in Bahrain.
Jani won against Natthida Kanyaburi of Thailand with a score of 29-28 in the final of the Girls' -40Kg Combat Discipline 14-15.
The 3rd Asian Youth Games, taking place from October 22 to 31, serves as a qualifying event for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar.
