Edinburgh's first purpose-built concert hall in over a century is under construction, with Balfour Beatty appointed to a £162m contract to build the 1,000-seat Dunard Centre.
Main construction begins in the coming weeks, with completion expected in 2029 and a workforce of around 200.
The venue, commissioned by Impact Scotland, has been designed by David Chipperfield Architects and Reiach & Hall Architects, with acoustics by Nagata Associates.
