The Philadelphia Flyers have returned 19-year-old Jett Luchanko to his junior team, Guelph of the OHL, to play more minutes and refine his game.
Due to limited NHL ice time and rules restricting his options, the Flyers made the decision to prioritize Luchanko's development.
The Flyers were in a bit of a pickle with Luchanko. The 19-year-old, by rule, isn't allowed to play in the AHL.
