Global PAH Data Shows Rising Cases and Risk Factors in Elderly
Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) has increased worldwide in older adults, largely due to growing aging populations, with the greatest risk factors in elderly women.
A study published in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society found that from 1990 to 2021, cases of PAH increased worldwide among older adults.
