Troy Man Charged in Two Separate Robberies
A man from Troy has been arrested in connection with two separate armed robberies in the city.
Troy Police charged Xavier Baker with two counts of robbery and four counts of grand larceny.
Robbery Details
- The first robbery occurred on Sept. 28 at the LB Empire and Deli in Lansingburgh, where Baker allegedly displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
- The second robbery took place on Oct. 14 at LeBeau’s grocery in south Troy, where Baker pointed a gun and demanded money and cigarettes.
Baker was tracked down using video surveillance, and evidence linking him to the robberies was found in his home and vehicle.
