Catherine Corcoran, known for her role in the 'Terrifier' slasher series, has sued the producers, including series creator Damien Leone, over claims of unpaid backend payments.
Corcoran played the victim of one of Art the Clown's gory kills in the original 2016 film, including a scene where her character, Dawn, is hung upside down and bisected with a hacksaw, known as the 'splits' scene.
This scene helped establish 'Terrifier' as a film that pushes the envelope of on-screen violence, building a cult fanbase that led to a sequel in 2022 and inclusion in Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios theme parks.
