WhatsApp Storage Management Update
WhatsApp is developing a feature to let users manage storage on a per-chat basis, expanding its current storage management tools.
The current version of WhatsApp allows global storage management through Settings > Storage and Data > Manage Storage, where files and media from all conversations can be browsed.
Each chat's info page also has a "Media, Links, and Docs" option to view shared files, but it doesn't display the storage space taken up by each file.
A new "Manage Storage" option has been added to the chat info page in the latest WhatsApp beta, showing the storage space taken up by each conversation.
